These felt wall tiles help reduce echo and soften sound reflections within a room. While often searched for as soundproof wall panels, they are designed to improve overall sound comfort by absorbing sound energy across the surface area of your installation.

Larger layouts and increased material coverage will deliver more noticeable acoustic improvement, especially in spaces with hard surfaces or open layouts.

This flexible, modular tile system adds layered texture and visual movement to accent walls, offices, and shared spaces. Felt Right tiles are designed to be low-maintenance and easy to clean. For routine cleaning use a vacuum hose or lint roller. For spot cleaning use a damp cloth or gentle household cleaner, avoid over saturating the tiles. Click to download our cleaning & maintenance guide.

What Tools are Required to Install My Felt Right Tiles?

Felt Right tiles are easily installed with a tape measure, a level, and a pencil. Simply orient your first few tiles and then build out your design from there. Most designs can be installed in less than an hour! You can watch an installation video here.

Can I Relocate A Tile Once It Is In Place?

Absolutely! Every order comes with extra adhesive tabs so you can easily reposition a tile or two during installation. If you need to adjust more tiles, additional adhesive squares are available for purchase here.

Will My Tiles Match if I Reorder?

Our tiles are crafted using recycled PET felt and dyed in batches, so slight dye-lot variations may occur between orders. While we follow strict color standards, some variation is a natural part of the process.

Each Square Tile measures 11.88 in x 11.88 in, so it covers just under one square foot. Measure the width and height of the area you want to cover in inches, divide each by 11.88, and round up to get your grid. A 4 ft x 8 ft section takes about 32 tiles. Order 5 to 10 percent extra if your layout needs trimming at an outlet, window, or corner. You can also run your room through our acoustics calculator to see how much coverage your space needs.

Yes. Square Tiles are priced per tile, so you order the exact count your layout calls for. Colors are selected one at a time, so add the quantity you want in the first color, then change the color and add the next quantity. Order all the colors for a project at the same time so they come from the same production run and match. See the full range on our main designs collection.

Yes. The 9mm PET felt holds push pins, sewing pins, and thumbtacks, which is why customers use Square Tile walls as quilt design walls, sewing room boards, classroom displays, and office pin boards. Pin holes close up in the felt when you pull the pin out. For anything with real weight, like a shelf or a framed piece, anchor into the wall behind the tile.

Square Tiles install with adhesive tabs, no screws or drilling. The tabs conform to most surfaces, including textured drywall. For heavy textures like brick, cement, or cinderblock, switch to Commercial Grade adhesive at checkout. Tiles are rigid and made for flat walls, so they will not follow a curved surface without the back being scored. Full steps are on our installation page.
