Frequently Asked Questions

Felt Right Blade and Beam Baffles are available with three ceiling connector options to suit different ceiling conditions. Hardware is available for ACT grid ceilings, flat ceilings, or direct attachment to Unistrut.

Our ACT hardware clips directly into standard 15/16″ drop ceiling grids for quick installation. The flat ceiling hardware includes anchors and drywall screws for mounting to solid ceilings.

Each suspension option includes 6′ cables, with 12′ cables available upon request.

For direct-attach installations, the baffles connect using a felt connector designed to attach directly into Unistrut. This option includes the felt connector only; Unistrut and suspension cables are not included.

How to Use Flat Ceiling Hardware

How to Use ACT/Drop Ceiling Hardware

Pro Tip: We recommend professional installation for large-scale or precision layouts.

Our high-performance ceiling collection includes:

  • Blade Baffles: Vertical PET felt panels suspended from the ceiling; ideal for large, open-plan spaces
  • 3D Cloud: Interlocking horizontal panels that reduce reverberation while creating dimension
  • Flat Clouds: Flat 18mm suspended available in 4 different styles and 42 colors
  • Acoustic Beams: Lightweight felt beams that replicate architectural ceiling elements; available in 42 colors and 5 wood grains
  • Wood Slat Ceiling Tiles: PET-backed wood-look tiles designed for standard 2x2 T-grid ceilings

Each product is designed to enhance room acoustics, elevate visual appeal, and simplify installation.

Our 2x2 ceiling tiles are designed to drop easily into standard 15/16" T-bar ceiling grids.

  • Panels can be cut to fit around sprinklers, vents, or lights
  • No special mounting hardware required

Yes! Felt Right acoustic tiles are a great solution for ceiling applications, offering both sound absorption and a sleek, modern design element. Whether you're improving acoustics in a workspace or adding visual interest to a creative space, our ceiling-friendly felt panels are up to the task.

For best results:

  • Use Commercial-Grade Adhesive Tabs: These provide a stronger, semi-permanent hold ideal for overhead installation. Simply select the commercial tab option during checkout.
  • Add Construction Adhesive for Extra Strength: For 2' x 2' tiles or larger commercial projects, we recommend pairing adhesive tabs with a high-performance construction adhesive. This ensures a secure, lasting bond that holds up over time.
  • Recommended Products: We suggest Liquid Nails, Loctite Heavy Duty, or DynaGrip — all of which work well in combination with our tabs.

Whether you’re installing a ceiling baffle system, or simply mounting tiles overhead, this combination of adhesives will help ensure a safe, stable, and long-lasting installation.

  • Blade Baffles, Cloud Baffles, Acoustic Beams, Room Dividers: Suspended using included hardware kits from open ceilings or grids. Direct attach piece is available for Beams and Blades, but the unistrut hardware is not included.
  • Wood Slat Ceiling Tiles: Simply drop into any standard 15/16" ceiling T-grid with no additional hardware required

Pro Tip: We recommend professional installation for large-scale or precision layouts.
