18mm Layered Engraved Felt Sheets are installed using a combination of hot glue and a construction adhesive such
as Loctite Heavy Duty.
1. Apply Adhesive
Apply a 1⁄4-inch dot of construction adhesive following the layout shown in the Installation Instructions PDF. We recommend applying adhesive in a dot pattern to ensure firm contact with the wall. Be sure to place the adhesive at least one inch away from all edges to prevent squeeze-out from showing.
2. Apply Hot Glue
Apply hot glue in 2 large X patterns across the back of the felt sheet, following the layout shown in the instruction PDF. The hot glue provides immediate tack, holding the felt in place while the construction adhesive cures. Work quickly when applying the hot glue, as it sets rapidly. Keep all glue at least one inch away from the edges to prevent squeeze-out from showing.
3. Press Sheet to Wall
Position the sheet on the wall and use a level to check for alignment. Press firmly and evenly across the entire surface for several seconds to ensure full contact. We recommend two people for best results.
