A structured, sound-absorbing acoustic room divider built for permanent architectural division in commercial interiors. The high-density PET felt construction absorbs 50% of sound waves and carries a Class A fire rating, delivering refined visual separation and acoustic comfort in offices, conference rooms, lobbies, healthcare facilities, and hospitality spaces. Configure as a single panel or a connected array spanning multiple rows for cohesive, full-room buildouts. Anchored installation requires a solid ceiling structure and is not compatible with drop ceilings.

What's Included
Each order comes with everything you need: cables, mounting hardware, panel grippers, anchors, screws, and an Allen wrench.

Ceiling Setup
Mark and pre-drill two mounting points spaced 47.25 inches apart. Install anchors and base hardware, then assemble and attach the cable components to the ceiling mounts.

Hanging Your Panel
Attach the panel grippers to the six pre-drilled holes on each side of the panel. Thread the cables through the grippers, position the panel at your desired height, and tighten to secure.

Final Adjustments
Run the cables down to the floor hardware, pull out any slack, and set your desired tension. Trim excess cable, lock everything down with the Allen screws, and you're done. For multiple panels side by side, use dual-sided grippers to share one cable between two dividers.

  • Use a vacuum hose attachment to remove dust and lint
  • A lint roller can also work for quick surface touch-ups

Spot Cleaning:

  • Wipe with a damp cloth
  • For more stubborn marks, spray with a common household cleaner and gently wipe down
  • Avoid oversaturation to preserve the felt's integrity

Disinfection (Commercial Environments)

  • Tiles can be disinfected using multi-surface cleaning sprays or non-abrasive disinfectant wipes
  • Ideal for schools, offices, and shared workspaces

Felt Right tiles are premium, sound-absorbing wall panels made from high-density engineered PET felt. Designed with both acoustic performance and modern design in mind, each tile features a soft, wool-like texture and crisp, chamfered edges for a clean, dimensional finish. At 9mm (3/8 inch) thick, these acoustic tiles are durable, attractive, and easy to install.

Made in the USA, every Felt Right tile is composed of approximately 50% recycled plastic — primarily single-use water bottles — broken down and sterilized without harmful chemicals. The fibers are dyed, felted, and precision-cut into a variety of sizes and shapes to support creative wall treatments for homes, offices, classrooms, and commercial interiors.

Yes! Felt Right tiles can be trimmed to any size using a razor blade and a straight edge (see example here). For the cleanest results, cutting along the engraved pattern lines is easiest, but any custom dimension works fine. For more control or complex shapes, we recommend:

  • A serrated utility knife for general cuts
  • Standard woodworking tools or a jigsaw for straight edges and angles
  • A plywood template and a router with a flush-cut pattern bit for curves

Felt Right tiles have a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.35, meaning they absorb approximately 35% of the sound that hits them. When installed across a significant portion of your wall, they can greatly reduce echo, soften harsh acoustics, and create a more comfortable listening environment.

For even greater sound absorption, Felt Right also offers a range of high-performance acoustic solutions beyond wall tiles. Our ceiling baffles come in three styles, each with a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) ranging from 0.65 to 0.80. For maximum acoustic performance, our Wood Slat Ceiling Panels deliver an impressive NRC of 0.85. We also offer Wood Slat Wall Panels, which combine aesthetic warmth with sound control, and feature an NRC of 0.55.

We recommend switching to our Commercial Grade adhesives at checkout for heavy textures like brick, cement, and cinderblock. We also recommend adding construction adhesive for secure bonding if needed.
