Installing Felt Right Beams
Felt Right Blade and Beam Baffles are available with three ceiling connector options to suit different ceiling conditions. Hardware is available for ACT grid ceilings, flat ceilings, or direct attachment to Unistrut.
Our ACT hardware clips directly into standard 15/16″ drop ceiling grids for quick installation. The flat ceiling hardware includes anchors and drywall screws for mounting to solid ceilings.
Each suspension option includes 6′ cables, with 12′ cables available upon request.
For direct-attach installations, the baffles connect using a felt connector designed to attach directly into Unistrut. This option includes the felt connector only; Unistrut and suspension cables are not included.

How Long Does It Take to Ship an Order?
All Felt Right products are made-to-order in our Utah facility, and production times vary based on the product type and order size.
Standard Production Times:
- Most Felt Right orders ship within 2–4 business days from our Utah facility.
- Some larger orders and certain products including ceiling baffles, room dividers, desk dividers, and more complex designs such as our National Parks and artist collections have a lead time of 6–7 business days.
- Larger commercial orders may require slightly longer production times. If you’re working on a commercial project or have questions about timing, feel free to reach out to us at sales@feltright.com.
- For custom projects created with our design team, lead time is approximately 4 weeks.
- We also offer expedited production for custom projects for an additional fee. If that’s something you’re interested in, reach out and we’ll walk you through options.

Designed with both acoustic performance and modern design in mind, each tile features a soft, wool-like texture and crisp, chamfered edges for a clean, dimensional finish. At 9mm (3/8 inch) thick, these acoustic tiles are durable, attractive, and easy to install.
Made in the USA, every Felt Right tile is composed of approximately 50% recycled plastic — primarily single-use water bottles — broken down and sterilized without harmful chemicals. The fibers are dyed, felted, and precision-cut into a variety of sizes and shapes to support creative wall treatments for homes, offices, classrooms, and commercial interiors.

Yes! Felt Right tiles can be trimmed to any size using a razor blade and a straight edge (see example here). For the cleanest results, cutting along the engraved pattern lines is easiest, but any custom dimension works fine. For more control or complex shapes, we recommend:
- A serrated utility knife for general cuts
- Standard woodworking tools or a jigsaw for straight edges and angles
- A plywood template and a router with a flush-cut pattern bit for curves
Felt Right tiles have a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of 0.35, meaning they absorb approximately 35% of the sound that hits them. When installed across a significant portion of your wall, they can greatly reduce echo, soften harsh acoustics, and create a more comfortable listening environment.
For even greater sound absorption, Felt Right also offers a range of high-performance acoustic solutions beyond wall tiles. Our ceiling baffles come in three styles, each with a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) ranging from 0.65 to 0.80. For maximum acoustic performance, our Wood Slat Ceiling Panels deliver an impressive NRC of 0.85. We also offer Wood Slat Wall Panels, which combine aesthetic warmth with sound control, and feature an NRC of 0.55.

Felt Right tiles are designed to be low-maintenance and easy to clean.
Routine Cleaning:
- Use a vacuum hose attachment to remove dust and lint
- A lint roller can also work for quick surface touch-ups
Spot Cleaning:
- Wipe with a damp cloth
- For more stubborn marks, spray with a common household cleaner and gently wipe down
