Our Commitment to Quality

At Felt Right, we take pride in creating beautiful, functional, and durable acoustic products designed to enhance the spaces where people live, work, and gather. We stand behind the quality of our products and are pleased to offer a 5-Year Limited Product Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

1. Warranty Coverage

Felt Right warrants that its acoustic felt panels will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase.

This warranty applies to products installed and maintained in accordance with Felt Right's published installation, care, and maintenance instructions.

Covered manufacturing defects may include:

  • Material integrity: Premature cracking, splitting, delamination, or structural deterioration attributable to manufacturing defects.

  • Manufacturing quality: Defects in material composition, fabrication, or finishing that materially affect the product's appearance or intended function.

  • Dimensional stability: Excessive warping or deformation resulting from manufacturing defects under normal indoor environmental conditions.

  • Color integrity: Significant premature discoloration or fading attributable to manufacturing defects under normal indoor conditions, excluding changes caused by sunlight, UV exposure, environmental conditions, or normal aging.

2. Warranty Period

This limited warranty is valid for five (5) years beginning on the original date of purchase.

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Replacement products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period.

3. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage, deterioration, or performance issues resulting from:

  • Improper installation or failure to follow Felt Right's installation instructions.

  • Failure of adhesives, mounting hardware, wall surfaces, ceiling structures, or other attachment systems, except where such components are expressly covered by a separate written warranty.

  • Normal wear and tear, including minor surface changes, incidental marks, and natural aging.

  • Exposure to excessive moisture, humidity, heat, direct sunlight, or UV radiation.

  • Improper cleaning, maintenance, handling, or storage.

  • Physical damage, including scratches, dents, punctures, cuts, impact damage, or abuse.

  • Alterations, modifications, or cutting performed after delivery, except where the claimed defect is unrelated to the modification.

  • Damage caused by building movement, water intrusion, fire, flooding, or other external events.

  • Minor variations in color, texture, thickness, or appearance within normal manufacturing tolerances, including differences between production lots.

  • Use in outdoor environments or applications outside the product's published specifications.

This warranty does not guarantee a specific level of sound reduction or acoustic performance in any particular space. Acoustic results depend on room characteristics, product selection, placement, installation, and other environmental factors.

4. Warranty Remedies

If a product is determined by Felt Right to have a defect covered by this warranty, Felt Right will, at its discretion:

  1. Repair the defective product, where practical;

  2. Replace the defective product with the same or a substantially equivalent product; or

  3. Refund the original purchase price of the affected product.

If the original product or color is no longer available, Felt Right may provide a reasonably comparable substitute.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Felt Right's responsibility under this warranty is limited to the remedies described above.

The warranty does not cover costs associated with removal, reinstallation, labor, or related expenses, except where required by applicable law.

5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please contact Felt Right Customer Support and provide:

  • Original order number or proof of purchase.

  • Description of the suspected defect.

  • Clear photographs showing the affected product and condition.

  • Information regarding installation and product use, if requested.

Claims must be submitted within the applicable five-year warranty period.

Felt Right may request additional information or inspection of the product to determine warranty eligibility.

Once a claim has been reviewed and approved, Felt Right will coordinate the appropriate warranty remedy.

6. Limitations of Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FELT RIGHT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF USE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH REMOVAL OR REINSTALLATION.

EXCEPT FOR WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

7. Your Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
