Strix Media

DENVILLE, NEW JERSEY

Strix Media's studio was built to give creatives room to work, but the large space brought more reverb than the team expected. Felt Right brought the sound under control with a design as creative as the work inside.

THE CHALLENGE

Big studio, bigger echo.

Co-founder Zack Ryan and his team hung sound blankets during shoots and cleaned up the audio afterward, both for their own projects and for the creatives who rent the studio. The workarounds cost time in production and post, a valid concern for the studio. They needed a long-term efficient sound solution.

THE APPROACH

Designed by creatives, for creatives.

After discovering Felt Right on social media, Strix worked with a Felt Right designer to match the design to their brand. Together, they combined wood slats, 3D cloud baffles and acoustic tiles into a custom solution.

THE SOLUTION

Sound as good as it looks.

The difference was immediate. The studio is noticeably quieter, and clients regularly comment on how good it looks and sounds.

A NOTE FROM THE CO-FOUNDER

“In this industry, sound really does matter, and Felt Right gave us a perfect balance of performance and design. I couldn't have asked for a better solution.”
