A Passion and a Concern
Whether surfing in Panama, Skiing in Utah, or mountain climbing in Nepal, I have always felt a strong connection to the outdoors. I also worry that these places are under serious threat due to climate degradation.
A Career in Design
I have spent the last 20+ years of my career in sustainable design. Prior to Felt Right, I founded 3form, Inc.,, where I created sustainable design materials which were both beautiful and responsibly made.

Plastic Where it Shouldn’t Be
Approximately 10 million metric tons of plastic waste enters our oceans each year, making up 80% of all ocean pollution.

Turning “Single-Use” into Lasting Beauty
I came across the process of converting used water bottles into fibers, which I then realized we could use to manufacture sound-absorbing, semi-rigid felt. Our acoustic felt panels are excellent for sound absorption, deadening background noise by absorbing sound waves.
